* ** Disclaimers
*Estimated year 1 benefit is based upon the following assumptions and calculations:

Location: Residential property in the OX14 postcode area, facing due south.

Annual Electricity Usage: Consumption is calculated by taking your inputted monthly electricity bill input and subtract £6.30 for a standing charge (using a typical figure of 21.02p per day) and then divide the remaining bill amount by our typical unit rate of 13.99p/kWh. This gives an average monthly usage that is then multiplied by twelve to produce a figure for your estimated annual electricity consumption.

Cost of Electricity: Import Unit Rate 13.99p/kWh, Standing Charge 21p per day, Export Unit Rate 5.6p/kWh (using the Social Energy Economy 24 Pre-Trade Tariff for the OX14 postcode area)

Solar System: Calculations are based upon a solar installation in the OX14 postcode area, facing due south with 8.1% shading, with a roof pitch of 37 degrees. Assuming a system of 12 installed JA Solar JAM60S17

-330/MR panels generating 3,585kWh in year 1 (a), with an annual panel degradation of 0.5% and a 30 year performance warranty, installed in January 2020.

Battery System: 4.5kWh capacity SolaX Triple Power Battery, with an X1-AC retrofit inverter rated at 3kW, connected to the Social Energy Hub, which remains online throughout year 1

Solar and Battery Self Consumption: Calculated using the Microgeneration Certification Scheme’s (MCS) ‘MGD003 Guidance Note Self Consumption’ document, (available to view here – https://mcscertified.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/MGD-003-Guidance-Note-Self-Consumption_.pdf), based upon 3,585kWh annual generation of the solar system (a) and the calculated annual electricity usage from your input (as explained above), with the ‘In Half the Day’ occupancy archetype, based upon most working people.

Further Assumptions: You choose to join the Social Energy Economy 24 Pre-Trade tariff, allow us to install a second generation smart meter in your property, to facilitate grid trading and sign a Grid Services Agreement, to allow us to use your battery to trade. Trading elements of earnings and savings included from day 91 after installation, to allow for battery grid qualification and smart meter installation.

Your actual savings will depend on many factors that are subject to change and impossible to predict with certainty

**Self consumption direct from solar and with the addition of battery storage are calculated based upon a 4.5kWh capacity SolaX Triple Power Battery, with an X1-AC retrofit inverter rated at 3kW. Self consumption estimates utilise information from the Microgeneration Certification Scheme’s (MCS) ‘MGD003 Guidance Note Self Consumption’ document, available to view here – https://mcscertified.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/MGD-003-Guidance-Note-Self-Consumption_.pdf

Page 35 of 51 refers to the calculation of self consumption through Solar PV only and rated capacity of Energy Storage systems, for residential users, with an ‘In Half the Day’ usage profile and an annual solar generation of 3,585kWh (a) and an annual electricity consumption of 3,800kWh (b).
